Episode 10289:A Walk Near The Flatiron District
January 28, 2013 1:07 pmI found myself in the Flatiron district the other day. Naturally my thoughts drifted to the roast beef sandwich at Eataly. But then it struck me what a wonderful neighborhood I was in, and began to orate in my boorish way.
I could watch your tours of the city all day long. Well, not all day, but a lot of the day. I wish they were longer so you could get a little more up close and personal with the eateries. Like you did in the Village. Keep doing these. Anyone can write a restaurant review. These trips are unique
Dennis
This is what you do best
Man, Josh, you aint perfect, but I love you. It still blows me away that you only have two comments on a blog that is fairly ambitious considering that you only do video about ten times a year. God bless you. Keep at it. How about stretching out and stepping in a Ghanian restaurant soon?
Vomit and cigarettes? Madison square park area doesn’t even smell like that in august, not to mention January where it’s 15 degrees out. Josh needs to stop pretending he’s walking some gritty old NY beat when he’s a block away from Eleven Madison Park and the Credit Suiss building.
Go for the hat trick. Awesome. I’ve also wondered about how some shops pay rent! it doesn’t make sense! More please.
This is the good stuff. I second Dennis’ comment, we need more walking/eating tours, please.
I also used to bemoan the long gaps between videos, then I remembered what Lou Reed said:
“He’s never early, he’s always late
the first thing you learn is that you always have to wait”
