Sponsored Video: Suzuki-San’s Sashimi Magic (With Korin Knives)
January 4, 2013 4:52 pm
I’ve eaten with and cooked for this man. And I’m proud of that.
I am SO happy that OTV will continue! I was worried there for awhile. I know I bitched and moaned when you guys had those terrible ads, but truthfully I would sit through 60 seconds of advertisements just to get my OTV fix. Keep up the great work Josh and Company!
Churchill biter. Josh, you should run some text ads alongside your videos to increase revenue. It wouldn’t bother me a bit. And you should sometimes go over your three minute limit with the videos. Especially when you are interviewing someone cool. Good luck man. Long live OTV!
Whatever you have to do, man. You do an interesting and special thing. Just continue to be opinionated in whatever form it should take.
I think that is a fabulous idea – I even mentioned something similar to this on Michael Ruhlman’s blog about App ideas. I am a visual learner and I suppose the premise of your idea and it being Rachel Ray, you are gearing towards the novice cook: the age bracket where newlyweds are learning and experimenting in different cooking methods.
In the old days this would have been called Vlog…now it is truly internet television.
I have been in contact with Canada’s Food Network and they are having such a hard time getting financing for Top Chef Canada for a second season…you have to ask why?
By doing it concurrently with what’s on tv now: so if Ozersky tv is on at 2 pm on the Cooking channel it is also concurrently on the internet at the same time…overlapping and doubling the viewer audience…or something like this.. advertisers get double bang for their buck….it is giving me thought ..for television to survive it must hook up with the internet and vice versa…
There is becoming a problem with internet and the problem is people just don’t have the time to follow everything out there: it is impossible in a day to keep abreast of both television entertainment and internet entertainment. Bravo TV has got a little bit of the idea because what happens after an episode is that we all run to their site to read the blogs about the episode and get a whole other concept of what went on….
financing…the age-old problem of having to make a buck and Josh it sucks to be in food in today’s world needing to make a living…If all of you had known then what you know now you all probably would have stuck with your careers that you were schooled in that had nothing to do with food…
BTW I did notice that Siesma’s Open Letter To Josh Ozersky was nominated too…
HAAA, CLAPPING WHILE STANDING …
The haaa is Josh staying true to form eating with his mouth full and talking while giving us the future.
I knew this day would come and glad that you didn’t lie down and die Josh. Excited about the future of OZTV.
a Iphone app would rock out !!!
, your my Howard Stern of the food world and get my ear before I turn on my radio every morning, if nothing else Thanks man, really Thanks.
Live Long and OzerSker …
fee-based Iphone app!!!
create paypal account for donations !!! RichyRich is loaded. LOL
Glad to hear that OTV will live on. I’m looking forward to many more years.
Josh I will follow your rants and musings wherever it takes us. Looking forward to the new chapter!
Josh your video has had me thinking all day and night: now I have come up with an idea and no knowledge of how to implement it so I am writing it here, today, to have proof that, should any one decide to take this idea and call it their own, I have already written it down….this day and this date and time…
I have found the solution for television vs internet and I think that ABC, NBC, Fox, CBS etc…should be developing iphone and ipad apps so that day and evening television can be watched wherever we are – same time-same show – in tandem with scheduled programming that is devised for television …in other words it’s time for The View but I am not home – however I can still watch it on my Ipad or Iphone wherever I am (providing it doesn’t interfere with my work)….
apps exist for both Time Warner and Cablevision to do just that. Also DirectTV has something similar …
Where are ya, Josh? I need my fix!!!!
Josh, these are excellent episodes on cooking and tastings. Looking forward to more episodes.
You’ve gotta keep doing the occasional ozersky.tv exclusive Josh. Cook up a half dozen of those Jersey Onion Burgers for the crew and get back to work!
Months ago, I came across Ozersky TV purely by mistake; I fell upon it while surfing the Web. Since subscribing to the postings, I’ve become a big fan. I love the visits to various spots around New York, the frank conversations, and lovely irreverent rants. Josh — DON’T CHANGE THIS WINNING FORMULA. While I enjoyed your recent egg demo, I consider you a critic, not a chef. Ozersky TV model has a legitimate place among its viewers. You’re delivering value; don’t forget that. Thanks and best wishes.
