Wow. That trio looked so good! Although I would have liked to see a simple garlic and oil pasta. And where was the Caccio Pepe or Carbonara?

This spaghetti series alone is Beard worthy. I love how each episode is not only a recipe, but a portrait of each cook and their kitchens.

@ simon, I agree. What a great introspective on these simple yet important and influential dishes. You wouldn’t often see them on a menu, but if you can learn to make them well you have the foundation for everything. Exceptional!
