So what tastes better this pizza or the ones at Difara, p.s be honest now.
He will never say anything is better that Dom’s because it probably isn’t. I have to be honest I am getting a bit sick of all these Pizza joints.
I LIKED THE BING SPOT.
What was with the site earlier? It brought up some weird search thing? I almost thought the same thing happened as the Feedbag site. Diggin’ the pizza, sounds mighty tasty!
Ozersky is either a hard-ass or a kiss-ass and here he is clearly the latter. Nice puff piece, Ozersky! Jeez…
Was a smidge puffy, I think Josh is a polite journalist … He’s not going to spit it out and say ‘THIS FUCKING SUCKS PWWWWW” in front of them.
I think its awesome what Donatella has done.. she brought over one of the best Pizza oven makers
one of the best pizzaiuoli and she has made her new pizzeria perfect and authentic in every way!
I wish her the best of luck with her new venture!
lyou are guaranteed a great pizza at Donatella’s
PS. to the guy who asked about DOM Difara’s pizza vs Donatellas
first off all.. its a whole different dining experience. AND
a different pizza..
DOM makes his pizza with an old 1960′s deck oven.. its like a classic of pizza ovens.they dont make the decks like that anymore.. also Dom offers a nostalgic experience to the joint..
its the best slice in NY made by a legend! but its not a wood fired pizza experience… its like driving an old classic Cadillac! can’t beat it!
Donatella is offering an old traditional classic pizza made the old way in a modern dining room experience. wood fired pizza with fresh gourmet ingredients in a modern dining room in a trendy setting. It’s like driving a Ferrari! It’s hot, flash and fast!
Both are different.. and both have their occasions!
at both places I’m sure you will not be disappointed.

Read this trackback on the original site.I’m sure many of you will have seen the Slice post about Ms. Arpaia’s oven project:

And here’s what the amateur wood-fired oven building community has to say about the job site safety under Stefano Ferrara:

so this is open?
It’s open, baby!
I enjoy the old traditional classic pizza hand made the old way and the taste of a wood fire pizza but I like eating in a modern dining room. I would love to do a Donatella Pizzeria NYC Bobby DoTube YouTube Video Series :)
